REGIONAL
- Obedience & Rally in Ballroom ~ 7 am – 10 am
- Sweeps in Ballroom ~ 11 am – noon
- 4-6 month ~ noon – 12:30 pm
- Lunch 12:30 pm-1 pm
- Regional Specialty (including Juniors in Ballroom ~ 1 pm – 6 pm
Paint by Numbers Event, Buffet, Bar in Ballroom ~ 7 pm – 10 pm
(Charge is per painting and separate from meal charges). You may order as many paintings as you like. Each will come separately boxed and can easily be transported home for a later project or a gift. Cost is $73.00 per paint-by-numbers kit which includes your personalized reproduction of any single dog photo you upload to our special event website through Apple Pie Painting. This cost also includes your easel, paints, paint brushes, apron to protect your clothing as well as drop cloths and table protection for the hotel ballroom. This is a wonderful activity and we hope to have a lot of participation! Don’t forget to order your dinner in the meals section of this registration site. A salad and baked potato bar are available and should be easy food to eat while painting with your friends. All kits will be delivered to the show site in Kerrville, Texas, boxed separately and available for pick up at the event Thursday evening. To order your kit, click on this link. Judges Education in Meeting Room ~ 1 – 2:30 pm
Awards Breakfast ~ 8 am – 9:30 am
- National Obedience & Rally in Ballroom ~ 9:30 am – 12:30 pm
- Seminar: Chagas and other Zoonoses Dr. Sarah Hamar, Texas A&M ~ 1 pm – 2 pm: We are honored to host Dr. Hamar of Texas A&M who will discuss Chagas disease which is transmitted by ‘kissing’ bugs and other diseases that can be spread between you and your PBGV. This seminar will be very enlightening for all pet owners but will also contain valuable information for people who enjoy outdoor activities. These diseases can afflict most anyone with 2 or 4 legs. No cost.
- Seminar: Breeders Round Robin “Making & Raising Puppies ~ 2 pm – 3 pm: Several breeders will discuss topics of interest to new puppy owners, other breeders and people interested in having a litter. This is a chance for those of us striving to preserve our breed to learn from each other and those who own PBGVs to learn about what goes into a good breeder’s decision making process and how to raise well-adjusted puppies. All are welcome and will find this to be an interesting and enlightening discussion. No cost.
