Anne reported that the amendment to change the closing time of entries failed to get the 2/3rds vote required for pas-

sage.  Closing time will remain at noon.  An amendment is scheduled for March, 2017 regarding a club’s ability to appeal

to the AKC Board of Directors if their request for a show in another club’s territory is denied or is not responded to within

30 days.  A Delegate rose to request that this amendment be sent back to Committee to develop criteria for the Board to

use in their consideration of the appeal request.  The status of this amendment is unknown to Anne at this time.

SaberTails: Tiffany reported it is completed and proofed.  The magazine will be sent to the printer tomorrow.
Old Business
Pamphlets for Meet the Breed: Sandy discussed the pamphlets contain the old standard for Judges Education and Meet

the Breeds so they would like to print new ones with the revised standard.
Trophy Engraving: Vickie asked about the engraving and Tiffany said she could send them to her for engraving.  There is

one Trophy that the plate does not come off.
New Business:
Bob Cohen brought up the discussion of the possibility of donating the oxygen masks for North Carolina and splitting

with the Foundation as we normally do.  Bob will follow up with Pam on this. Jo suggested other options would be bul-

letproof vests for police dogs.
