38 Saber Tails Summer 2017

Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen Club of America

changed over the last 30 years they are still the same ex-

troverted happy funny clowns they have always been.

It takes many members giving time and energy, people

willing to sponsor trophies and special events; and peo-

ple entering and attending to make a National successful.

PBGV fanciers from across the United States and beyond

joined forces to make this 30th PBGV National fun and

exciting. From the centerpieces to the step and repeat

(sponsored by the Carolina PBGV Club) and the hand

crafted picture stands (built by Tony and Beverly Childs,)

each detail was covered by countless PBGVCA members

putting in more hours than you will ever know and do-

nating money when needed. As the Show Chair, I thank

each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart.

As I said many times over the past year and

a half…it takes a pack of people and lots of

sponsors to have a National. And in my case,

it took Pam Helmer, Barbara Pepper and Vick-

ie Willman on the other end of the phone an-

swering my many questions!!!
