AKC DELEGATE’S REPORT

Committee & Delegates’ Meetings

Four amendments were presented to the Delegates for consideration and ac-

tion at the June meeting.   Two amendments introduced concerned Beagle 

Field Trials.  One amendment concerned Retriever Field Trials, and one con-

cerned the calculation of Grand Champion points to include Veterans in the 

count when they are competing in the Best Of Breed class.  All four amendments were adopted.   With agree-

ment from the PBGVCA Board of Directors, I did not attend this meeting given the costs and our desire to put 

these funds to work elsewhere.

In order to receive your Saber Tails, participate in voting and receive other information, it 

is very important to update your contact information.  You can elect to keep your contact 

information for members only or you can have your contact information available for public 

viewing.

How to Access Your Personal Profile  

 

First Time Access to Personal Profile:

1. Go to: www.pbgv.org, Select “Member Info” and in the drop down menu chose “MEMBERS ONLY AREA”.  Select the 

“Forgot Password” link next to the “Login” button.

2. The “Reset Password” page will appear.  Enter your e-mail (as provided on the membership application), a six-

character password and select the “Submit” button.  (If you get an error message saying it does not recognize you, 

retype your e-mail.  If this does not resolve the problem, that means PBGVCA does not have your correct e-mail 

address.  Contact the Webmaster at webmaster@pbgv.org to correct the information.)

3. An e-mail will be sent with instructions on how to reset or, in this case, set your password.  Please keep password 

in a safe place.  

Not your first time accessing your profile:

1. Go to www.pbgv.org.  Select “Member Info” and from the drop down menu chose “MEMBER ONLY AREA.”

2. Enter your e-mail and password and click “Login.”

3. Under “Member Options,”  chose “Update Your Personal Profile.”

4. To update the information, select the “Edit Profile” button, make the changes and click the “Save” button.
