Letter From the

Foundation President

For the past several years the Foundation has been able to fund

programs such as educational programs, Health Clinics, and DNA

blood draw at the specialties. This year we will continue to provide

support.

For the past two years the Foundation has participated with PB-

VCA to provide Animal Oxygen Mask Equipment to local Fire De-

partments in the city where the Specialty is being held.

We hope to be able to continue this tradition for years to come.

This year we applied to the Spector Foundation for a grant to as-

sist with the project for this year. I’m pleased to report that we

were awarded a grant that will assist in providing the Animal Oxy-

gen Mask equipment.

The Foundation is so very fortunate that we have club members

that are very loyal and on the lookout for an opportunity to help

support Rescue. In January of this year, Juliet Franzen approached

the Foundation with an opportunity to raise money for Rescue.

Juliet had Purchased Wash-N-Zip dog beds in the past. The most

interesting part of this story is that the owners give back to the

canine community on a regular basis. Each month a rescue is

highlighted and receives a $5.00 donation for each bed sold dur-

ing the month. January 2017 our Foundation was the recipient

of  $485.00  for Rescue.  Thank You to Juliet for thinking of Rescue

and making the connection.

The Foundation is always in search of appropriate research to

support our breed.  In addition, we  have a  very active Facebook

page that provides pertinent Health information as it becomes

available.

Thank you to all that have donated over the years.  PBGVs every-

where Thank You !
