Therewasquestionaswhethertherewasaboardmotion

allocating$1,080forWildApricot.Gloriaexplainedthe
$1,080hastodowiththeclub’smembershipdatabase,and
thepaymenthasbeenarecurringpaymentinJanuaryeach
year.Therewasnorecentboardmotion.

Recommendations.Thecommitteeishappytoreportthat

thisyearwefoundnoissuesandhavenorecommendations
onhowtochangeorimprovehowthingsarebeingaccounted
for.Weweresatisfiedwithourindividualreviewofthebooks
forthequarterweweregiventoaudit.Allappearstobein
goodorder.Gloriaisdoingagreatjobofkeepingdetailed
recordsofalltransactionsandapplyingproperaccounting
diligence.Sherespondedtoallquestions,provided
clarificationandsupportingdocumentstohelpuseach
understandthedetailreports,andhowitemsarecategorized
andfoundinthechartofaccounts.

Theonlyconcernisthatitisincreasinglydifficulttofind

timeatthenationalstoconducttheseaudits.Atnational,
everyonehassomanydemandsontheirtimeandarespread
insomanydifferentdirections,itisdifficulttofindthe
hoursittakestositandconductanaudit.Anauditisn’t
somethingthatcanbeaccomplishedinhalfanhouroreven
anhour.Itisn’tsomethingthatcanbedoneinahurry.Asa
result,wehadtoconducttheauditaswedidthisyear,which
addedadelaygettingthereportcompletedandpresented.

Inclosing,IwouldliketothankGloriaforallherefforts

onbehalfoftheclub’streasury,andtheeffortsheputforth
inhaulingboxesofpaperworkandfolderstothenational,
forprovidinguswithcopiesofeverythingweneededvia
email,andforherpatienceinansweringallquestions
thrownather.
