6 Saber Tails Winter 2016

Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen Club of America

P

BGVs have a variety of interests that make them happy to participate. One of their favorites is their association and

interaction with children.

H

ere you see Bandit, a five year old PBGV in Mrs. Hamilton’s second grade class at Samsula Academy in Florida. Bandit

is enjoying her time as each child has an opportunity to read a page from the class’ story book of the day.

W

ould you like your child or grandchild to be a more enthusiastic reader? Picture this - a cozy blanket and pillow, a

wonderful story book tale and a child that is eager to share. I’m sure your PBGV would be happy to join in listening

to the story - as your child finds the experience not only enjoyable but so rewarding to spend a special time with their

dog.

D

o you and your PBGV participate in any Service Projects in your commu-

nity?  If so, send us a quick write up and a couple of photos.  We’d love to

showcase all our PBGVs using their sweet natured spirits as ambassadors for

the breed and to help others.
