course without a dog and participate in Q&A is $10 - limited to a number of 10 auditing participants. Handouts will be

offered to those that sign up. If you are participating with a dog, please bring a clean brushed dog, table and arm along

Breeder Seminar on the PBGV Standard

PRESENTER: Nick Frost, Noted PBGV Breeder and AKC Judge

Have you heard the term “20 degrees aft of the vertical” to describe a part of

the PBGV anatomy?  No?  Well, maybe you’d recognize, “pointing at about two

o’clock”.   It’s the PBGV tail that we’re referring to. Yes, the breed standard has

been revised over the years and the latest revision was approved in 2014.

Noted PBGV Breeder and AKC Judge Nick Frost will discuss the breed standard

with a focus on type and what makes the PBGV the hound that it is. Judge Frost has bred many PBGV Champi-

ons during the past 40 years.  For an hour or so, there will be a presentation of virtues and possible improve-

ments of the dog on the table.  Would you like to learn a tidbit or two? Come join us.
