Vichon PBGVs

Veronica Scheer, Vichon PBGVs

My first PBGVs, Tory, arrived in 1995 and she quickly found her way into my heart. Our bond became even stronger as we both learned all about obedience competition and she quickly earned her Canine Good Citizen Award. From there we tried our hand, or should I say paw, with Rally Obedience. She charmed the crowds with her devotion and total attention to me and what came next in the course. Next to arrive was Coco who earned her Championship by 8 months with a 5 point major and an Award of Merit at the 1999 PBGVCA national. Coco was a therapy dog who worked miracles with Alzheimer patients. Eve was next in the door and her main job in life was making the household happy; an easy task for a PBGV. Nikki arrived in 2012 and she had a litter of 5 in 2015. I kept 3 of the 5 puppies and reluctantly placed 2 in wonderful homes. I now have a pack of 4 PBGV with Bryce’s (CH Vichon-CJ’s Sir Bryce of Sherman) earning his championship. Despite their antics in the show ring. Slim and Viv earned points toward their championship.  Nikki rules the roost and she tries to keep the kids in line. Well almost.

I have been a member of PBGVCA since 1998 where I wear many hats including webmaster, technology coordinator, member of the Health Committee and the PBGVCA board as Director for the Eastern Region.
