MOTION: 12-15-03 (Quintenz, second Swaine) Move to
approve new members pending no adverse comments
received by December 23. Motion passed.
Corresponding Secretary’s Report: NTR, except she sold
6 calendars at Eukanuba, Vickie sold 5 at North Carolina
Hunt. There have been approximately 110 sold.
AKC Delegate: Anne reported the amendments voted on
by the Board last month had been voted on at the last AKC
Delegates meeting. The AKC voted to retain Term Limits,
allow digital versions of Premium lists, Judging panels and
Catalogs, and enhance the Grand Championship title
MTB, Westminster: Bob reported that the volunteers want
to do MTB without the extra money requested.
MOTION: 12-15-04 (Henson, second Cohen) Move to
rescind MOTION: 11-15-06 (Williquette, seconded Cannon)
Move to not participate in Meet the Breeds at the 2016
Westminster Dog Show. Motion passed.
MOTION: 12-15-05 (Cohen, second Bustin) Move to agree
to participate in MTB, Saturday before the 2016 Westmin-
ster Dog Show.
New Business:
North Carolina Hunt Application: The application for the
NC Hunt in February was presented to the Board for ap-
proval.
MOTION: 12-15-06 (Willmann, second Holoubek) Move to
approve the North Carolina Hunt. Motion passed.
Treasurer’s Report: Current assets total $54,660.97. This
is a $2,815.23 increase over the October 2015 amount
of $51,845.74. Overall, there is a net loss of $10,287.16
through November 2015. This includes a net loss of
$20,933.71 in General operations, offset by a net in-
come of $2,033.31 in Hunt activities and a net income
of $8,613.24 in Show Event activities. The General
operations cost center includes $2,737.45 in Rescue
expenditures of which $1,221.91 has been reimbursed
by the Foundation. The payment for the Foster expense
has been paid and The Foundation will be sending
the Club reimbursement for a portion of this expense.
The overall net income for Hunt activities is $2,033.31.
This includes net income from the Indiana and Caro-
lina Hunts. Show events cost center includes net profit
for the 2015 Specialty of $6,457.18 and a net profit of
$139.64 for the Top 20 Event offset by a net income for
the Eukanuba, 2016 & 2017 Specialties of $1,101.61
due to Calendar Sales, Trophy Donations and pre-
event raffles offset by pre-event deposits and Calendar
expenses.
The financial report was accepted as presented.
Gloria presented the projected budget for next year.
It is estimated we will lose about $6000 next year. The
Board discussed ways to save money and reduce Club
losses.
MOTION: 12-15-07 (Cohen, second Gallant) Move to
tentatively approve the proposed 2016 Budget as pre-
sented. Motion passed.

PBGVCA 2015 Mid-Year Meeting
Night Session – Friday, October 23 – 7:30 p.m. CDT
(Meeting was held by Conference Call. The BOD decided since we had already
used the Charlotte venue for a previous National Specialty, it was not necessary)

Topics for Friday’s meeting are Finances/Budget, Club
Membership, and Brainstorming ideas for increasing
resources and growing membership.
